Renaissance Castle

The living style in a castle since the 16th to the beginnigs of the 20th century, lounges, dancing hall, library, unique picture gallery of the bohemian monarchs. Timed tickets, tour with a guide, tour time 60 min, the tours can be organised after 20 min for max. 23 persons each.

Large Renaissance Hall
Portraits of the former owners of the castle from the family of Trauttmansdorff, billiard table in french style from the middle of the 18th century.

Alcove
A preparing room for served food with exhibited pewtery of several periods. Ebony secretary with secret drawers and a palace effect made by mirrors.

Red Lounge
A rest-character room, furnished in style of the french rococo, ceiling fresco „Adonis and Venus“, miniatures made by the Viennesse school, valuable china.

Gentlement‘s Lounge
A lounge with a collection of 21 venetian veduts from the Canaletto school, a french-type „a la boule“ gaming table.

Dancing Hall
Rococo wallpaintings, a room for music ceremonies, a unique tangent – piano.

Small Dining Room
A dining room with a technical curiosity in form of original, still working Edison light bulbs from 1906, a dining table, glasssware and china on view.

Small Renaissance Hall
Served as a family dining room during winter time, portraits of the members of the Trauttmansdorff family.

Green Lounge
Objects from Orient and their european copies – Chinese carpet, Japanese embroideries.

Library
A collection of 15 thousand volumes in different languages, on many social topics.

Knight‘s Hall
A unique portrait gallery of the bohemian monarchs.
